Our story
For generations, we have been perpetuating a unique expertise: vinification and ageing in oak barrels, carefully controlled to bring out the best in our exceptional grape varieties.
The result? Wines of singular elegance, where each bottle tells the story of our passion and our high standards.
Thanks to their commitment and boldness, each generation brings new energy to the estate.

Talk about Pata
The Pata was a Provençal coin made of copper. It bore a cross on one side and the keys of Saint Peter on the other. On the wall of the house, an old sign reading 'Octroi de Vaison' reveals the purpose of the place. In the past, people had to pay Patas to pass from one municipality to another.

Gérald
Sabine's father
He is mainly responsible for overseeing the work in the vineyards. Whether sitting on his tractor or driving his Méhari to deliver to local customers, he is always on the move.
You will also meet him at fairs and exhibitions, where he will talk endlessly about his wines and share with you the very essence of Domaine du Gros Pata.
Sabine
the spirit of the estate
Since 2000, Sabine has embodied the passion and dynamism of Domaine du Gros Pata. From winemaking to marketing, she devotes her energy to producing authentic wines while perpetuating family traditions.
A committed woman, she is a member of Femmes Vignes Rhône, president of AOP Vaison-la-Romaine wines and was inducted into the Commanderie des Costes du Rhône in September 2025.
For her, wine is not just a bottle: it is an encounter, a story to share, and Provençal pride to pass on.
Lucas
Sabine's son
Lucas has been by Sabine's side since he was a child. After observing her for a long time, he now conducts tastings at the estate or at fairs and exhibitions on his own, when his student schedule allows.
Every year, he gets involved in the estate's open day: an important event that brings together a large number of people.
He will welcome you with his big smile, a real ray of sunshine.

The environment
l a t e r r e n o u s o f f r e s e s t r é s o r s
As part of the agricultural industry, we fully depend on our surrounding, just as it depends on us. That’s why we grow our produce organically and sustainably. Over the past decades the carbon footprint of the winery has been positive, which is something we’re really proud of.
We have always cultivated our vines with respect for the environment. Since 2020, we have been certified HVE (High Environmental Value).
